After years of studying different photography mediums, I always came back to the love I had for documentary work. Documenting human connection in it's most honest form. Weddings as whole are deeply personal and there are and endless amount of stories to tell and art to create.
This is the reason I only take on a limited number of weddings a year. Allowing myself the time and space to not only fully be present for my couples but to show up as creative and understanding as I can be.
Other areas of inspiration I love include design, architecture, light and movement. I’ve always been drawn to the way light controls the mood of a room. The little glimpses of natural light on a rainy day or the warmth of harsh sun. The shadows through windows and the ambiance of candles or chandlers. There’s so much to see in the simplicity of light.
The core of my inspiration comes from the simple things that make us human. The laughter, tears, hugs, all the little things that bring us together.
Outside of my wedding and lifestyle work, I soak up the time I get to spend with family and friends. I love a good roadtrip and time spent traveling. I have an endless list of dream locations to see that I hope to continue exploring. I also appreciate the quiet moments in my own life, from snow days spent reading to burning any baking creation to hiking in the white mountains. The little things keep me inspired in my own day to day.
From the very first conversation to the final gallery delivery, working with Nia was nothing short of magical. She wasn’t just someone holding a camera — she was a calming presence, a creative visionary, and somehow felt like a dear friend by the end of the day. .
What truly sets her apart is how intentional the experience felt. She took the time to understand us as a couple — our story, our personalities, what mattered most — and that care shows in every single image. Nothing felt staged or forced. It all felt natural, romantic, and effortlessly us. Our family and friends kept commenting on how lovely, warm, and professional she was. She made everyone feel comfortable, confident, and completely at ease.
If you’re looking for someone who will not only deliver breathtaking photos but also add genuine magic to your day, look no further. Hiring her was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We are endlessly grateful — these are memories we will treasure for a lifetime.
Nia was the best decision we could have made for our wedding day! Nia captured every moment yet allowed us to take in the day, be present with each other, and celebrate with those that mean the most to us. As a couple who are very easily overwhelmed by photos her documentary style was perfect, although we did have some (a lot of) obligatory portraits requested by family. One of our biggest wishes was to attend cocktail hour with our friends and family and to really just be present in the moment.
We love looking back on our wedding photos and feeling every emotion like it was yesterday. Having Nia there was such an honor and really felt like we gained a friend! I hope that we can have Nia there to capture all of the emotion and moments in all the milestones to come. We could not recommend Nia more!
There aren’t enough words in the English language to describe how wonderful Nia was as our wedding Photographer.
She was SO incredibly kind and worked SO hard to make my dreams reality. When she sent the album for our wedding photos, I cried. They were spectacular. She captured every little detail of our wedding. The quality of the photos is absolutely stunning—each image tells a beautiful story, from candid moments to perfectly framed portraits.
Not only is she amazing at her job and incredibly professional, but she’s also the sweetest person in the ENTIRE world. From the moment I met her, I knew I was in good hands. If you’re debating on using her as your photographer, I can tell you with FULL confidence that Nia is the perfect choice.
